The Ageing Research Café is a supportive space for researchers to explore early ideas related to ageing. Whether your idea is fully developed or still taking shape, this session offers the opportunity to talk it through with public partners who bring lived experience, insight, and fresh perspectives.
Each participant will have a 45-minute slot to share their idea in a relaxed, informal discussion. There are no slides and no formal presentation required. A researcher will be present to support and help guide the conversation.
These cafés are designed to:
-
Help shape ideas to make them more relevant and grounded in people’s real experiences
-
Encourage collaboration between researchers and members of the public
-
Strengthen the co-production of ageing research from the earliest stages
This event is delivered in partnership with the Vivensa Foundation and the University of Exeter, as part of ongoing work to support research that improves ageing well.
