Pharmacy Practice
Aseel finished her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Jordan in 2008. She worked in a community pharmacy before working as a teaching assistant at the University of Jordan, during which time, in 2013, she finished her master’s degree in pharmacy.
In 2015, she was appointed as a lecturer at Isra University in Jordan in pharmacy practice. In 2017, Aseel started her PhD studies at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK and was awarded the degree in 2022. Currently, Aseel is a postdoctoral fellow researcher working on the DREAM:Digital and Remote Enhancements for the Assessment and Management of older people living with frailty project at the University of Exeter.
Her PhD focused on enhancing asthma care in adult patients by suggesting an evidence-based and person-centred intervention that could be provided to patients in community pharmacy. Aseel is interested in health services research, pharmacy practice, respiratory disease management and person-centred approach.
