Psychology applied to health, pain, qualitative methods, research capacity building, PPIE, inclusion and diversity.
I joined the University of Exeter Medical School in 2017 and PenARC in 2023. With a first degree and PhD in psychology, I have over 25 years of experience in conducting and supporting health research.
My role within PenARC is supporting research capacity building in older adult social care. I am also involved in a range of other research and teaching within the medical school, including a Special Study Unit (SSU)for Year One medical students related to the pain and a range of teaching related to qualitative research methods.
