Biography

I am a PenARC funded PhD student looking at community-based public health interventions that might have combined impacts on domestic violence, mental ill-health and substance misuse. I have a particular interest in child health, supporting the needs of parents and families, and the design, evaluation and implementation of early intervention.

I joined PenARC in 2019 with over eight years’ research experience, having worked on a number of research projects. Most recently, this involved working on a large cluster randomised controlled trial (RCT) examining the impact of a teacher classroom management course on children’s mental health, behaviour and attainment (STARS 2).
