Biography

Yinghui Wei is Professor of Data Science in Applied Health at the University of Exeter. She leads the Peninsula Collaboration for Operational Research and Data Science (PenCHORD) team.

Her research integrates the development of statistical methodology and its applications to medicine, clinical trials and evidence synthesis, as well as big data enabled health research using modern data science approaches and digital infrastructure.

Yinghui collaborates widely across national and international projects, contributing data science and statistics methodological expertise, and supervising early‑career researchers within major funding programmes, including internationally funded doctoral training networks. She also has experience in working with industrial partners on the design and supervision of MSc and PhD research projects.
