Biography
Silvana is part of our Mental Health Research Programme (PenMHRI). She has a background in developmental cognitive neuroscience and transdiagnostic and needs-based approaches to neurodevelopmental difficulties. Within PenMHRI, she works with services and local communities to deliver research into children and young people’s mental health to tackle gaps between local needs and provision.
Silvana is also Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Attention, Learning, and Memory. Her work focuses on studying neurodevelopmental difficulties transdiagnostically aiming to understand how and why children may struggle at school and how to best support the wellbeing of neurodivergent young people.
