About the event
The PPIE Summer School offers an immersive learning experience exploring the values that underpin Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) in health and care research.
Co-designed and delivered by academics and public collaborators, the course combines theory, reflection and practical exploration in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Across three days, participants will:
- Explore foundational principles and power dynamics in PPIE
- Engage with creative and relational approaches to involvement
- Reflect on leadership, culture and their own practice
The course emphasises shared learning, openness and reflection, creating a safe space to exchange ideas and develop meaningful partnerships.

This Summer School is designed for anyone involved in, or interested in, health and care research, including:
- Early career researchers through to senior academics
- PPIE leads, facilitators and practitioners
