Biography

I joined the University of Exeter Medical School (UEMS) as an information specialist in September 2012. Since April 2020 I have mainly worked with the Exeter PRP Evidence Review Facility, which is supported by PenARC. My role is to carry out literature searching for reviews, mainly by using bibliographic and grey literature databases, and to provide reviewing support. I am also part of the UEMS information specialist team and Evidence Synthesis and Modelling for health Improvement (ESMI), and provide literature searching advice to researchers and NHS professionals in the PenARC geographical region via the EST Searching and Review clinics. I previously worked as an information specialist for Warwick Evidence at the University of Warwick (2011-2012) and as a clinical librarian and library assistant at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (2010-2011). I have an MSc in Library and Information Studies from City University, London (2009).
