Biography
Tomasina is Associate Professor and Programme Lead for the Dementia PersonAlised Care Team (D-PACT) project and an NIHR PenARC Dementia Fellow. She received her postgraduate training in Experimental Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Cambridge.
She is interested in how to (i) support people with dementia and their carers in a range of settings and (ii) improve the experience of death particularly for those with reduced agency. Her work also includes exploring person-centred ways to recruit people with dementia who may lack capacity to consent (in-person or remotely) as well as research designs in circumstances where the randomised control trial is not appropriate.
