The NIHR INSIGHT programme are hosting a free event on Tuesday 1st April 2025, hosted by both Universities of Plymouth and Exeter, that aims to provide students and professionals with the opportunity to showcase their research. Places for this event are limited, with priority given to students of both universities of Plymouth and Exeter in the first instance. Additional places will be available for early career health and social care professionals.
As part of the event, attendees will be expected to showcase their research through oral presentations, discussion panels, research skills workshops and poster presentations, which prizes are available for at £100 in three separate categories. As well as this, there will be two prizes of £1,000 for attendees “Elevator Pitch.”
The following groups are eligible to attend the conference and present a poster and/or elevator pitch.
- Healthcare, social work and public health professionals who have worked for a period equivalent of up to three years following registration.
- Students enrolled in courses of healthcare, social work and public health professions.
- Priority will be given to those living, working or studying in the South West Peninsula or with an offer of employment in this area.
This conference will also welcome those who would like to present their research-related experiences fostering a community-based culture where both challenges and triumphs can be shared in a welcoming environment.
