Child Health
I joined PenARC in October 2020 as a Research Fellow and the Programme Manager for the Child Health and Maternity national priority programme. This programme seeks to find effective ways to implement evidence-based interventions to improve children’s and maternity services widely across England over the next three years.
I previously worked with PenCRU, the Peninsula Childhood Disability Research Unit at the University of Exeter Medical School. There, I managed the feasibility study of an intervention to improve the health and wellbeing of parent carers of children with disabilities, working closely with parent carers in the Family Faculty public involvement group.
I am also an Academic Tutor for students on the BSc Medical Sciences programme and a facilitator for the BMBS Making Sense of Evidence small group sessions at the University of Exeter.
